RODGERS AND HART – ‘A Celebration’
A musical revue with music & lyrics by the renowned song writing team
Richard Rodgers & Lorenz Hart
Concept Richard Lewine and John Fearnley

Musical direction: Keith Benjamin
A rousing pastiche of over thirty songs from their first hit in 1925 to their final show stopper in 1943 by the prolific team of Rodgers & Hart. The first act sets the stage for romance while the second act is comprised of their more satiric gems with a brief narration highlighting the Rodgers & Hart story
CAST REQUIRED
6 strong singers with good stage presence and ability to move well – 3 male & 3 female
(May be expanded)
Auditionees will be required to sing a prepared song in their voice range, preferably one by Rodgers & Hart. A selection of songs from the show is included below. Please bring your own sheet music or backing track.
The show will run at Milnerton Playhouse from 27 November to 12 December 2009 with music rehearsals starting beginning of September.
